Title: Developing Sustainable Planned Communities cover and interior design

The Project:
Design, develop and produce a 232-page book and cover jacket for the Urban Land institute, a Washington, DC-based organization that provides research and education in responsible use of land and sustainable development.

The Design:
The book was designed using a thin-ruled grid with outer page white space, that provides both structure, and flexibility For body text, we used what has become the studio's go-to font over the past year, Terminal Design's Alfon, along with Delta Jaeger for sidebar text and headlines.
